My beautiful readers, browsers, friends and Sponsors … I´m taking a thirty-day break from blogging so that I can tend to … LIFE; all of them!!!
After my vacation is up my Flickr will become my preferred blogging medium.
For seven years, I´ve been blogging and writing, never taking a break. Almost eight years ago I came to SL and pretty soon I found myself writing for the now defunct Metaverse Tribune. I had a wonderful boss there, Recka Wuyst, who taught me a thing or two, but who most importantly made working an amazing experience!
In the beginning of my days I started featuring either clothes that I had purchased or those I got to keep as a SL Runway Model. Until one day the art inspired LADY THERA and the Italian-cut designs of ANUBIS took pity on me.
The brilliantly successful owner of GIZZA, Giz Seorn, and Bouquet Babii from Vero Modero (soon closing her in world store) followed suit offering me to become an official Blogger. I was delighted, honored and ever so grateful! They are my roots.
Putting time and effort into even the shortest post, has forced me to, at times, turn down Sponsor offerings in order to provide the spotlight Designers deserved or to maintain the general style of the blog that the readers expected, but I am grateful to everyone who ever asked or offered their creations. You have made me grow each time I´ve styled and sometimes you have even forced me to think outside the box which is something I really enjoyed!!!
Coming from a Fashion background in RL (as a runway and television model and later as a Luxury Fashion Executive) helps, but it’s not the same. In RL you are dependent in part upon your genes; things either fit or they don´t. In SL you must develop technological savvy. I was once called ´hypocritical´ because I altered my body to fit every designer´s style. The person in fact not knowing that this is exactly what SL models must do as part of their job.
At first my pictures were very basic and I still can´t believe someone once asked me back then in world if I could teach them Photoshop. Uh??? I told them I wasn´t using it, which was the truth, but they thought I did not want to help them. I knew nothing about (and still don´t) about Photoshop, but a few years later I made an enormous leap by way of my always generous friend, Coober Galicia who taught me there were other ways and other tools!
I am eternally grateful to him, my ex-boss, my Sponsors Ghee, Gizza, Vero Modero, Smesh!!, Byrne et al – both current and past – to those of you who have faithfully followed or liked this humble blog and to those who made comments. I am also grateful to those of you who´ve inspired me and will continue to do so.
Will this break from the blog itself be permanent? To be honest, I don´t know. It´s just something I feel I need right now as I have too many loose ends flying around and that makes me feel uncomfortable. One thing is certain, I will continue to post pictures on my Flickr page.
See you there, maybe?
Until we meet again, may your concept of Divinity hold you in the palm of his/her hand!
For all that you have given me, I THANK YOU!

- Thematic theatre performances by Guerrilla Burlesque
- Creative Forum
- Fashion show
- Speed dating
And much more!
Just as Second Life is a home to so many people from all walks of life, Indie Teepee aims to be the roof under which these same people may discover, enjoy and appreciate the diversity and creativity that could only previously be experienced in the real world.
Indie Teepee brings people together through their love of song and art – breaking down barriers and providing a haven for music genres such as indie, alternative, rock, electronic dance music and hip-hop. In 2016, they ventured to and did include into their home, live music performances, theatre acts, machinimas, original mesh designs, photography and a creative forum.
Indie Teepee 2017 dares Second Life residents to dream of and thrive in worlds that are possibly to come. While again welcoming live music performances, original mesh designs and the creative forum.
They also look forward to introducing fun, new attractions, such as performance art and social activities.
In this home, there are no strangers, just friends you haven’t met yet.
