That Paper Mill

Snapshot_001As they say, don´t confuse the art with the artist.

I say, let´s not confuse a company with a country;nor with it´s innocent citizens.

Doing so is completely unfair.  Panama doesn’t own that mill.

Style Info

Above – The prints and textures are amazing, with the mix of abstract geometry that has become the signature of the creator. A pencil skirt sits low on the waist (not the hip), it´s cut very close to the body and moves with it, ending about four inches under the knee.

The corset like top is open up front and held together by five strips of fabric from one side to the other. The back is cut low under the shoulder blades and it comes with a matching collar that you can wear or not, but that I personally find balancing to the outfit, providing an elegant added detail.

It comes in 2 different basic sets of Whites and Ombres from which we can choose six different takes: White, White/Red, White/Blue, Blue Ombre, Red Ombre and Pink Ombre. Made Exclusively for The Instruments April 11th Round.

Pic 1 Byrne – Landa Outfit Whites in White/Red. Yummy – Ring.

Pic 2Byrne – Landa Outfit Ombres in Red/Ombre.  Chary – Bracelet. ROC – Shoes.

Below – A dress with an asymmetrical sleeveless top and skirt in tropic friendly colors.  It comes with a two metal buckle leather belt that can be worn on and off.  The version shown has a nubuck finish top that is riveted along the edges with the same South Western print fabric of the skirt.  Several other prints are available.

Rayne Couture – Thrill Me Dress in Brown.  Lode – Headpiece.  Luxe – Rings.  All hair in this story ExXes.

Van Halen – Panama

Nor governments with the citizens. People is people everywhere I googled about the paper mill, it seems a bit tricky.
I love the details in color in both dresses ^_^

Hi Francis! It is an extremely tricky and complicated issue specially because off shore companies are legal in that country and in many others and there are many legitimate reasons for their existence. However the very nature of anonymity lends itself to many other activities. And therein lies the problem. Thank you so much for taking the time to google it and to comment. Means the world to me! xox

I was reading more data and it seems something with political targets. And to me your gentleness toward my person, I missed you! ^.^

Hey Francis, was kind of caught up in work and this week and the next as well. Thank you so much for your comments. The whole issue has a lot of ramifications. Some is legal. Some, shady. In the end, it is always the poor who end up paying by repercussions from both the bad and the good. xox

Lovely post, Landa! Sorry to hear about the Paper Mill stuff – seems the law makers are to blame, ultimately. Interesting period of time when all things are being revealed, don’t you think?

    1. landacrystal says:

Hi Moz! I hope that more and more things and reasons are revealed and exposed and hopefully in the right way too. It will take a major shift of values and consciousness but it is not impossible for people to ultimately understand that whether cloaked in secrecy or not, we must abide by the law. And that the wealthier we are, the more responsibility we have. Thank you so much for your comment on this I really, really appreciate it!

We´d Love to Hear from you !
